A Bit About Me!

Welcome, friend! My name is Abby, and I launched this blog in the summer of 2020 during high school. I am now a college sophomore at The Ohio State University, and I love to work hard to achieve my dreams (including the creation of this brand). I also have a passion for helping people and I love spending time with Jesus. When I'm not doing either of those things, I love to read, paint, and spend time with family. And, I also like to watch Netflix, but who doesn't?

In high school, I was a three-sport athlete and involved in a lot of activities, so free time was sometimes hard to find. In the summer before my freshman year, I suffered from a torn shoulder and underwent two surgeries (so I definitely had a lot of extra time to do other things). Over the course of my injury, surgery, and rehab, I grew dramatically in my faith and learned some amazing life lessons. If I had the option to change what happened, I wouldn't. The lessons I learned and the relationship I grew with Jesus are so much more valuable than the time I lost with sports.

This experience coupled with the lockdown in 2020 was the motivation behind originally launching Fully Living as a blog. I felt God calling me to share my light and life with others in the midst of the struggle. Now as a college student, that calling feels even stronger. God has given me beautiful and ambitious dreams, and I have been having so much fun chasing after that vision. I trust that He is leading me on an adventure filled with Full Life (the namesake for this blog).

My hope now, as it always has been, is that this site will be an inspiring and encouraging place where we can all learn together how to truly live a life full of peace, joy, and bold adventure. My dream is that through Fully Living's four offshoots, together we can make a kingdom impact on this side of heaven. There is so much freedom to be gained through Him and His beautiful calling for your life! I hope that through my words, artistry, experiences, and desire to make a difference, you feel God calling you to step out into the vision that He has for you and that you start to feel yourself Fully Living again.
